Standing Next to Molotov will be taking a break from posting this week to remember Ernie's wife, Susi, who passed away on November 5th in her native Austria.
Susi is a force to be reckoned with—funny, vivacious, incisive, fiercely intelligent, open-minded, outspoken.
She welcomed me into her home with open arms and treated me like family. I have such fond memories of my visits to the Schneider household over the years. I will miss her so much.
Regular posting of Ernie's postcards will resume next week.
