Postcard #748 and a Personal Note

Hi everyone, 

This will be the last post I make from New York, as tomorrow I will be relocating to sunny Los Angeles, California. This postcard of The Cloisters in Ft. Tryon Park is a very fitting parting shot for me, as this beautiful scene is just a stone's throw from my apartment here in upper Manhattan. I've enjoyed many, many long walks in this park since I moved to New York in 2003. I'm really going to miss it.

There might be a small break in posting, depending on how quickly I can get my computer/scanner/life up and running again once I reach the west coast.

As for the state of the blog itself, we are in the home stretch. I reckon we've got about five months left to explore Ernie's postcard habit.
